This urn features a distinctly youthful and dynamic design. Crafted from black walnut, it undergoes an ebonization process using a ferric acetate solution, which reacts with the wood’s natural tannins to produce a deep black coloration. The surface is then carefully sanded to soften the darkness and reveal subtle portions of the walnut’s natural tone. Each side of the urn offers a unique visual perspective, transforming the piece into a singular and original work when viewed from any angle.
To enhance visual appeal, finely integrated lighter wood bands add contrast and depth, enriching the overall composition of this distinctive design.
